Insight Global is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the implementation of a U.S. cash management and ACH payments solution within a large financial institution.

This individual will work with business, technology, operations, and product teams to define requirements, map end-to-end payment workflows, and support the delivery of domestic and international ACH capabilities for corporate clients.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with U.S. ACH implementations, a strong understanding of Nacha rules, and the ability to translate complex payment processes into clear business and technical requirements.

This role requires a confident, proactive BSA who can facilitate cross-functional discussions, present recommendations, and drive requirements through an Agile delivery lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
• Lead requirements gathering and analysis for a U.S. ACH and cash management implementation serving corporate clients.
• Document end-to-end ACH payment flows, including payment initiation, validation, processing, settlement, returns, exception handling, and reconciliation.
• Analyze both domestic U.S. ACH and international ACH payment scenarios, including payments sent to and received from U.S.-based corporate clients.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops with business, operations, product, technology, development, and quality assurance stakeholders.
• Create business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, and supporting system documentation.
• Translate complex payment requirements into clear, implementation-ready specifications for development and testing teams.
• Lead requirements discussions, present findings and recommendations, and proactively identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and decisions.




• Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, development collaboration, testing, defect triage, and implementation readiness.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess the relationship between U.S. ACH, international payment flows, and applicable Canadian clearing processes.

Skills and Requirements




• Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting payment or cash management implementations.
• Hands-on experience implementing U.S. ACH solutions for commercial or corporate banking clients.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end ACH payment lifecycle, including initiation, validation, processing, settlement, returns, error codes, exceptions, and reconciliation.
• Solid knowledge of the Nacha network, operating rules, file and payment-processing requirements, and exception scenarios.
• Experience with domestic U.S. ACH and international ACH transactions involving payments sent to and received from U.S.-based clients.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex business and functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules.
• Strong process and payment-flow mapping skills, with the ability to identify system dependencies, handoffs, gaps, and exception paths.
• Robust technical acumen and experience partnering closely with architecture, development, integration, and QA teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional meetings, challenge assumptions, present recommendations, and drive conversations toward clear decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a confident and proactive approach to stakeholder engagement. • Knowledge of Canadian payment clearing processes, including the Automated Clearing Settlement System, or ACSS.
• Experience with international ACH transactions, cross-border payments, or global cash management.
• Experience with Finacle, Intellect, or similar core banking and cash management platforms.
• Knowledge of SWIFT payments or messaging.
• Experience with deposits, liquidity management, core banking, or large corporate banking processes.
