About The Role The Reservations and Sales Agent is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive experience from the initial inquiry through to booking. This position responds to guest inquiries, recommends appropriate accommodations, activities, and services, and converts opportunities into confirmed reservations. Success in the role requires strong customer service and communication skills, confidence working with reservation and CRM systems, attention to detail, and a natural ability to support both guest experience and sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert guest inquiries into confirmed reservations by understanding guest needs, recommending appropriate experiences, and clearly communicating the value of Nootka Marine Adventures.
- Create and manage reservations for accommodations, moorage, camping, guided fishing, rental boats, and other services.




- Respond to guest inquiries by phone and email in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting Nootka Marine Adventures, participating in sales campaigns, and completing outbound calls as required.
- Accurately record and maintain guest information, leads, quotes, follow-up activities, and booking notes in Monday.com CRM and other applicable systems.
- Process deposits, payments, booking changes, and cancellations accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Complete daily settlement and reconciliation reports, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues as required.
- Maintain accurate records while protecting guest confidentiality and adhering to company brand and service standards.
- Collaborate with the Reservations, Sales, and Marketing teams to support shared guest service and revenue goals.

Qualifications

Required

- Minimum two years of experience in customer service, reservations, hospitality, tourism, or sales.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as required.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine commitment to creating a positive guest experience.
- Comfortable learning and working across reservation systems,



CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, email, and other digital tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain organized, accurate, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, robust attention to detail, and a solution-focused approach.
- Interest in fishing, marine recreation, and outdoor tourism; previous fishing knowledge or experience is considered an asset.
