Our Alberta client is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a 6-month remote contract opportunity, with potential extension.

Must Haves:

- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using Talend Studio, including ETL/ELT jobs, data transformations, orchestration, error handling, and deployment
- 5+ years of experience administering and supporting Talend Management Console (TMC) or Talend Administration Center (TAC), including deployment, scheduling, setting management, monitoring, and release promotion
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Talend Remote Engines, Job Servers, and runtime infrastructure
- 2+ years of enterprise production support experience involving incident management, root cause analysis, monitoring, performance optimization, deployment validation, and integration issue resolution
- 4+ years working within a mature SDLC, including Git, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, release management, documentation, and change management
- 1+ year of experience using AI for code generation, data analysis, automation, and productivity enhancement in data engineering workflows
