As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in transforming legacy enterprise applications into scalable, cloud-enabled solutions that improve the delivery of essential services across Ontario.

Working alongside architects, business analysts, QA professionals, and development teams, you will help design and deliver secure, high-performing applications using modern Microsoft technologies. Your Responsibilities

- You'll design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- You'll modernize legacy .NET Framework, WCF, Windows Services, Windows Forms, and IIS-hosted applications by decomposing monolithic systems into modular,



API-driven solutions.
- You'll build secure REST APIs, implement JWT and OAuth2 authentication, and develop scalable, high-performance applications using asynchronous and multithreaded programming.
- You'll develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases while supporting Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Event Hub, Azure Data Explorer, Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
- You'll support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, maintainable software solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

- 10+ years of enterprise software development experience using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and legacy ASP.NET Framework technologies.
- Demonstrated experience modernizing legacy applications, designing REST APIs, and implementing secure authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth2.
- Solid experience developing Angular applications, including AngularJS migration, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, component-based architecture, and responsive user interfaces.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server expertise, including T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, query optimization, execution plans, and database performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services,



Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, application monitoring, and cloud-native development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-first design, event-driven architecture, design patterns, Agile delivery, and secure software engineering practices.
- Experience developing and supporting integrations between healthcare applications and systems.
- Familiarity with HL7 standards and healthcare messaging, including troubleshooting HL7 interfaces.
- Knowledge of FHIR standards, resources, APIs, and modern healthcare interoperability.
- Hands-on experience developing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Mirth Connect channels and integrations is considered a strong asset.
