We are looking a Senior Functional Lead to support one of our clients. The Senior Functional Lead will work closely with the project team and the System Implementor, and will provide decisive, cross-functional leadership across Finance and People & Culture, to ensure the ERP solution meets business requirements and integrates effectively.

Responsabilities;

The Consultant will work with the System Implementor and other contractors to assist with the following aspects of this project:

- provide leadership across the functional workstreams to ensure aligned business processes and integrated outcomes;
- validate and approve functional designs, business process changes and configuration decisions;
- resolve cross-functional conflicts, dependencies and configuration issues, and support timely decision-making and escalation management; and
- drive functional readiness across testing, data conversion and training activities. The Consultant will have expert knowledge and experience in ERP functional leadership in a public sector setting. Experience with Workday in a Canadian local government context is preferred.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- A minimum of ten (10) years of senior functional leadership experience on ERP implementations;
- A senior functional leadership role on at least one (1) ERP implementation in a public sector organization that was completed, or substantially underway, within the past five (5) years;
- Functional leadership across two (2) or more of Finance, Payroll, Human Capital Management and Procurement on a single ERP implementation;
- Experience leading functional delivery on behalf of the implementing organization,



rather than on behalf of a software vendor or system implementor, on at least one (1) ERP implementation; and
- Availability of the named individual to deliver at the level of effort described in Section 3.6 of the Scop of Work for the full term described in Section 3.7 of Scope of Work.

- Proponents should describe the specific engagements relied on, the proposed resource's personal role and accountability in each, and how that experience would be applied to the City's implementation:
- Depth and relevance of ERP functional leadership experience, including the number and breadth of functional workstreams led;
- Experience implementing the Workday Enterprise Platform, and the depth of that experience across Finance,



Payroll, Procurement and Human Capital Management;
- Experience in a Canadian municipal or local government setting, and the transferability of that experience to the City's operating context;
- Experience leading functional delivery on behalf of the implementing organization, working alongside a system implementor;
- Proposed approach to resolving cross-functional conflicts, dependencies and configuration issues, and to supporting timely decision-making and escalation management;
- Proposed approach to validating and approving functional designs, business process changes and configuration decisions with City functional leads and subject matter experts;
- Proposed approach to driving functional readiness across testing, data conversion and training, including the definition and validation of end-to-end scenarios;
- Proposed approach to coordinating with the System Implementor's functional counterparts and City stakeholders to maintain a consistent interpretation of requirements, decisions and impacts; o Relevant professional credentials;

Location:

Services are expected to be delivered primarily remotely. In-person participation in Victoria, BC will be required on limited occasions, including the project kick-off and workshops, and periodic travel is expected given the relationship-building and leadership nature of the role.

References:

Proponents must provide three (3) references for the named individual from ERP implementations completed or in progress within the past five (5) years, at least one (1) of which must be from a public sector organization. References must be from the client organization rather than from a system implementor or software vendor. The City may contact references as part of the evaluation.
