Position Summary

As Senior Manager, Integrated Communications (Earned Media & Influencer) at Golin Toronto, you are a strategic communications professional who understands how to connect business objectives to culturally relevant stories, earned media opportunities, influencer partnerships, and integrated campaigns that drive measurable impact. You are a trusted client counselor and emerging business leader, capable of leading day-to-day account operations while providing strategic recommendations that help clients navigate opportunities, challenges, and moments that matter. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help lead key client relationships, mentor team members, contribute to business growth, and ensure programs are delivered with excellence from strategy through execution and measurement.

Client Leadership & Strategic Counsel

- Serve as a senior day-to-day client lead across multiple accounts, building trusted client relationships.
- Provide strategic communications counsel rooted in business objectives, audience insights and cultural relevance.
- Lead integrated communications planning across earned media, influencer marketing, content, social and experiential programs.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively develop recommendations and solutions.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and annual planning sessions.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive client satisfaction, growth and business results.

Media & Influencer Strategy
- Develop and oversee media and influencer strategies that generate earned attention and measurable business impact.
- Identify compelling story angles,



thought leadership opportunities and cultural moments.
- Leverage relationships across Canadian media, creator, talent and influencer networks.
- Oversee influencer identification, contracting, content review, program execution and reporting.
- Lead media outreach efforts, spokesperson preparation, launches, events and activations.
- Stay ahead of media, creator and platform trends and translate insights into recommendations.

Account Management & Operations
- Oversee multiple accounts simultaneously, ensuring work is delivered on time and on budget.
- Lead scopes of work, project plans, timelines and reporting.
- Manage budgets, account profitability and resource allocation with senior leaders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Maintain quality control across communications materials, presentations and reporting.

Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor and develop junior and mid-level team members.
- Provide coaching, feedback and career development support.
- Support onboarding and team development initiatives.
- Act as a senior resource across account teams and help elevate strategic thinking and execution.

Business Growth & Agency Contribution
- Identify opportunities to grow existing business and introduce new capabilities.
- Support new business efforts through strategy development and presentations.
- Contribute thought leadership and knowledge sharing across the agency.
- Champion innovation and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and performance.

Ideal Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive public relations, integrated communications or agency experience.




- Proven experience leading client relationships and providing strategic communications counsel.
- Strong earned media expertise and experience managing influencer programs.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian media, influencer and cultural landscape.
- Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams, budgets, timelines and deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong strategic thinking, judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with tools such as Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, CreatorIQ or similar.
- Collaborative, positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
