including:Construction layout and stakingEarthworks and gradingTopographic surveysQuantity surveysEstablishing and maintaining survey controlOperatingGPS/GNSS and robotic total stationsReading and interpreting construction drawings and plansCompleting survey calculations and collecting accurate field dataIdentifying field discrepancies before they become construction issuesCoordinating with project managers, supervisors, clients, and field crewsSupporting and mentoring Survey Assistants when requiredWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe're less concerned about checking every box and more interested in finding someone withstrong, hands-on field experiencewho can confidently run survey work.You'll be a robust fit if you have:Previous experience as aConstruction Surveyor, Field Surveyor, or similarStrong construction layout and field surveying experienceExperience withcivil construction, earthworks, or industrial projectsConfidence operatingGPS/GNSS and robotic total stationsAbility to read construction drawings, plans, and specificationsA solid understanding of survey control, calculations, and tolerancesAbility to work independently and solve problems in the fieldA validClass 5 Driver's Licencewith a clean driver's abstractA strong commitment to safety and qualityTrimble experience is a definite asset.Experience withCivil 3D, industrial projects, oil and gas, mining, heavy civil, or mentoring junior survey staffis also considered an asset.This is a hands-on field position working outdoors in active construction environments.
