RX Dental is a specialized family office serving pharmacists, dentists, and physicians through two coordinated companies: RX Dental Accountants and RX Dental Wealth Management.

Our mission is to help healthcare professionals achieve the financial freedom they deserve through proactive advice, specialized expertise, and strategic planning.

We are growing and looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager who wants to do more than review tax returns. This is an opportunity to advise successful healthcare professionals and practice owners, lead a developing accounting team, and help shape the future of our specialized tax and wealth management firms.

Location: Mississauga or Barrie, Ontario

Work arrangement: Hybrid, three days in office and two days working from home

Compensation: $140,000 to $180,000 in total annual fixed compensation

Bonus: Target of 10%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%

What You Will Do

Lead Client Relationships

Take ownership of key client relationships and become a trusted advisor. Communicate complex tax matters in plain language, provide proactive guidance, and deliver a premium client experience.

Develop Tax Strategies

Identify, develop, and present corporate and personal tax-planning strategies tailored to each client’s business, family, and long-term financial objectives.

Provide Advanced Tax Advice

Advise clients on corporate reorganizations, compensation planning, succession planning, and other advanced tax strategies. Coordinate implementation with lawyers and other professional advisors.

Advise on Practice Acquisitions and Startups

Guide healthcare professionals through practice acquisitions and new practice startups. Depending on the engagement, this may include due diligence, structuring the transaction, evaluating financing options, developing financial projections, and supporting the client through closing while coordinating with lenders, lawyers, vendors, and other professional advisors.

Oversee Tax Compliance

Review T1, T2, T3, GST/HST/PST returns and oversee all compilation engagements under CSRS 4200, issued through a CPA Professional Corporation.

Lead and Develop the Team

Coach and mentor accounting professionals, provide technical guidance, review work, establish clear expectations, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Build Training Programs

Develop and deliver structured training that strengthens technical knowledge, client-service skills, and the onboarding experience for new team members.

Improve the Firm

Collaborate with the firm’s partners on process improvements,

technology adoption, service development, workflow visibility, and strategic growth initiatives.

Support Business Development

Recognize opportunities to support clients through the firm’s tax, accounting, advisory, and wealth management services. Help grow the tax practice by developing existing relationships and contributing to new business opportunities.
