TELECOM RIGGING & MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Kinetic Contracting Ltd. is looking for motivated and experienced Telecom Rigging & Maintenance Technicians / Tower Riggers to join our growing team.

? Based in Manitoba – Travel Required

? THE ROLE

Our crews work on a variety of telecommunications projects including:

- Communication tower and rooftop work
- New tower/site builds and upgrades
- LTE / 5G installations
- Antenna, radio and mount installation/removal
- Coax, fibre and power cable installation
- Rigging, hoisting and lifting operations
- Tower modifications and structural upgrades
- Tower and site inspections
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Tower hardware repairs and replacement
- Antenna and transmission line maintenance
- Equipment troubleshooting and repairs
- General tower, compound and site maintenance
- Identifying and documenting deficiencies
- Completing maintenance and field reports

? WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous telecom tower, rigging or maintenance experience preferred
- Comfortable climbing and working at heights




- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Safety-focused and able to work effectively as part of a crew
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willing to travel and work extended rotations when required
- Valid driver’s licence

Experience with tower construction, maintenance, rigging, RF systems, antennas, fibre, DC power, troubleshooting and civil/telecom construction is an asset.
