Schedule:

This position follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule

- Rotation: 4-day shifts, followed by 4 days off, then 4 night shifts, with the rotation repeating on an ongoing basis
- Day Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Night Shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

- Build positive and supportive relationships with children, youth and families.
- Provide therapeutic, trauma-informed care within a structured residential setting.
- Support youth in developing life skills, emotional regulation, and healthy relationships.
- Participate in case planning, team meetings,



and ongoing professional development.
- Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, supportive environment.
- Assist with daily program operations, including transportation, meal preparation, household tasks, and recreational activities.
- Respond effectively to crisis situations and provide emotional support as needed.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in the Social Sciences, Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Nursing.
- Current proof of professional registration may be required for certain diplomas or degrees.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with children, youth, or families.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License, reliable transportation and Drivers Abstract with no more than 6 demerits.
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
- Willingness to relocate to Fort McMurray.
