Organizational Development Specialist 75-85K base + bonus

The Organizational Development Specialist contributes to organizational growth and effectiveness by partnering with leaders and stakeholders to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of people-focused programs and initiatives. The role provides specialized expertise in areas including leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and immigration-related programs, helping to advance organizational priorities and foster a positive employee experience.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring four days in office and one day remote per week.

Responsibilities:

- Support the design, development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of organizational development (OD) programs and initiatives that align with business objectives and organizational needs.
- Conduct organizational assessments, including employee engagement surveys, culture audits, and change readiness evaluations to identify gaps and assess needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of OD interventions, employee engagement programs, and performance management processes, adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Analyze workforce metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated with trends and research in organizational development, recommending innovative solutions to improve performance and engagement.
- Coordinate and execute employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs that contribute to employee motivation, well-being, and organizational engagement objectives.
- Oversee the service award program.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through targeted programs and organizational practices.
- Support and enhance performance management programs and processes by providing training, guidance, and resources to leaders on effective feedback, goal setting, and employee development practices.




- Develop and implement learning and development initiatives focused on leadership growth, team effectiveness, and performance management.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify talent gaps, succession planning needs, and opportunities for workforce development.
- Serve as lead and advisor for immigration processes, supporting employees and managers with work permits, visas, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Liaise with Immigration consultants on employee case management.

Requirements:

- Post-secondary diploma in a related field required: Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience required in OD, HR or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of organizational development practices, including employee engagement, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.
- Team player with the ability to interact professionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High integrity and the ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for fostering continuous improvement.
