Hybrid Body / Prep Technician

Reports to: Body Shop Manager

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hybrid Body / Prep Technician to join our team in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will support vehicle repairs, preparation, painting, disassembly/reassembly, and quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and mask vehicles and parts for painting.

Perform body repairs, sanding, filling, shaping, and panel alignment.

Complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly.

Set up and maintain the paint booth.

Inspect repairs and ensure quality standards are met.

Pull, organize, and test-fit parts.

Complete vehicle scans and update production records.

Maintain a clean and protected work environment.

Qualifications

Automotive body repair/prep experience.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious.

Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
