Senior Backend Engineer
to join its
Customer Focus Group (CFG)
— a technical team that connects engineering with the commercial side of the product.CFG team members work across
development, architecture, product, and customer-facing activities. The role involves understanding customer needs, translating them into product improvements, building recent features, and solving urgent technical challenges.We’re looking for a strong backend engineer who can combine deep technical expertise with a broader product and customer perspective. The role has a strong focus on
infrastructure, performance, scalability, and customer satisfaction .Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIsDevelop new features based on customer and product requirementsWork closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutionsInvestigate and resolve complex technical and production issuesImprove system performance, reliability, and scalabilityContribute to backend architecture and technical decision-makingWork with SQL and NoSQL databases and support high-volume data processingBuild and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure,



or GCPCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teamsParticipate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and Agile development processesTake ownership of features from design and development through deployment and supportHelp improve the overall customer experience and product qualityRequirements
Strong understanding of backend architecture, including microservices, API design, and design patternsProficiency in Node.Js / TypeScript or another relevant backend languageExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience building and scaling systems for high-volume data processingHands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with cloud services such as serverless computing and managed databases5+ years of backend development experience, preferably with customer-focused productsStrong problem-solving skills and experience building performant, scalable solutionsExperience with Agile development and CI/CD pipelinesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, including working with globally distributed teams
