You will report to the manager of maintenance and material handling, overseeing the regulatory compliance and accuracy of nuclear waste inventories. The role demands expertise in supporting waste management processes, including transaction processing, shipment coordination, and preparing for regulatory inspections. You'll also be responsible for leading safeguards accountancy activities to ensure accurate material balances and compliance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:



- Oversee management of nuclear material inventories - Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards - Track waste management transactions and support planning - Prepare for inspections and maintain comprehensive records - Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field - At least 5 years of relevant industry experience - Ability to analyze and reconcile inventory balances - Understanding of waste characterization processes - Certification in the transportation of dangerous goods preferred
