The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a network of community recreation centers, pools, arenas, and fitness facilities, as well as a diverse portfolio of programs that cater to residents of all ages and abilities. This hands-on executive role requires a proven leader in the recreation sector, with a strong background in facility operations, program development, and budget management.



The Executive Director will also be tasked with maintaining productive relationships with the two municipal owners and ensuring that the services are seamlessly integrated for the benefit of all residents.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least ten years in senior leadership roles within recreation or community services. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, budget and financial management, people leadership, and fostering partnerships with various community and cultural organizations. The ideal candidate will have a community-first orientation, be a relationship builder, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement. Experience in a unionized environment, collective bargaining, and with capital projects is also highly valued.
