Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our family dental practice! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, orthodontics, and pediatrics
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization protocols are strictly followed
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Intraoral scanning using PrimeScan
- Charting, documentation and treatment planning on Tracker
- Manage patient records efficiently using Tracker, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits
- Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all safety and infection control standards

Requirements





- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant Level II with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations
- Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics and pediatrics preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and procedures
- Proficiency with dental practice management software Tracker is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
