Job Overview
One of Dr. Sulz loved CDA's has been accepted into Dental Hygiene. We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team and assist Dr. Jordan Sulz. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will support Dr. Sulz in clinical procedures, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of daily dental practice activities.
Duties
- Assist dentist(s) during a variety of dental procedures, including laser treatment, restorations, crown/bridgework, endodontics.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict sterilization protocols.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Manage patient records using dental software (we use Tracker)
ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients in a timely manner.
Skills
- Valid licensure as a Dental Assistant with current certification requirements met.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Tracker is an asset.
- Experience working in general and pediatric dentistry environments.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive patient experiences and collaborate effectively with team members.
