Rakotta Holdings is looking for an experienced leasing agent. Our team is responsible for the management of high-rise apartment buildings located in the heart of downtown Montreal.

As a leasing agent, you’ll become the public face of our property and the key contact for our current and potential tenants.

Tasks and responsibilities:

· Meet potential tenants and schedule apartment visits and follow-ups;

· Proceed with proper verifications by following company procedures to qualify potential tenants;

· Collect monthly rent and follow-up with late payers:

· Coordinate with maintenance team regarding tenants moving in and out of building:

· Work in close collaboration with the maintenance, accounting and security teams:

· Must have an analytical mind and be capable of prioritizing tasks:

· Replace other leasing agents when on their annual vacations:

· Other related tasks.

Requirements and qualifications:

· College diploma (DEC) / equivalent pertinent education (mandatory)





· Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)

· Min 3 years experience in a similar position (required)

· Ability to multi task

· Strong people skills

· Great team member as well as excellent at working alone

· Organized and keen eye for detail

· Able to work under pressure during periods of increased work activity

· Skilled and rigorous

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office software

· Knowledge of the laws of Quebec governing rental properties

· Knowledge of Hopem and Monday.com software (asset)
