We are seeking an experienced Skilled Labourer or Apprentice Carpenter willing to take responsibilities and build a career. We will value a self-motivated candidate not afraid of hard honest work and driven by a “can do” attitude.

START DATE: As soon as possible

LOCATION: Fort McMurray, Alberta

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time

WORK HOURS: 44 hrs / week. Willing to work weekends if required.

SALARY: Depends on Experience

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years experience in commercial, industrial and residential construction as a skilled labourer or apprentice carpenter.

LANGUAGES: Fluent English (Read, Spoken, Written)

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Good fit / able to handle heavy loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs)



/ Able to work long hours in standing position and doing repetitive tasks / Able to work in a fast-paced environment / must be okay with heights.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES: Load, unload and transport construction materials / Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades / Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Carpentry Skills.

EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY EXPERIENCE: compactors, concrete vibrators, circular saws, air compressors, nail guns, and all carpentry tools/equipment

PERSONAL CAPABILITIES: Committed individuals capable to take on responsibility and work independently with little supervision / Ability to listen and take directions when explained / Ability to help and train others / Ability to stay focused in stressful situations / Ability to problem solve

MANDATORY TRANSPORTATION: Valid Driver’s license and Own transportation

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Safety tickets will be an asset

TOOLS / OWN EQUIPMENT: hard hat, hard-toe safety boots, safety glasses, gloves, reflective gear / Specific work clothes.
