HeadHunting Inc. is looking for compassionate and experienced Health Care Aides / Nursing Attendants to provide direct resident care within senior living and continuing care environments.

What You’ll Do

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility needs as required by the resident’s care plan.
- Support meal service, portering and recreational/leisure activities.
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the RN/LPN.
- Follow individualized resident care plans and contribute to care-plan updates.
- Administer medications when applicable and authorized under organizational processes.
- Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
- Provide compassionate support to residents receiving palliative care.
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, independence,



choice and individuality.
- Follow emergency, infection-control and workplace safety procedures.
- Participate in team meetings, education and training.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the care team.

Qualifications

- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent.
- Grade 12 or GED.
- First Aid.
- Experience working with elderly and disabled individuals.
- Dementia care experience.
- Palliative care experience.
- Solid English communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers, email and internet.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
