Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Support the cooking team by preparing ingredients needed for various menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during meal preparation and kitchen operations




- Support the overall food service process by helping with plating, portioning, and presentation as directed

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations is a plus
- Experience in meal preparation or cooking within the food industry demonstrates a strong foundation for this role
- Knowledge of serving protocols and basic culinary techniques will help you succeed in this position
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
