Atlas Power Sweeping - Mechanic

Atlas Power Sweeping is looking for a full-time Commercial Truck and Transport, Heavy Duty, Automotive Mechanic. Will consider experienced mechanics and automotive Red Seal Technicians.

The fleet consists of power sweepers, vac trucks, water trucks, floor scrubbers, pick ups and trailers (amongst other small equipment).

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

- Mechanical knowledge in engines (diesel, gasoline, and propane).
- Comprehensive knowledge in hydraulic systems, with a thorough understanding of pneumatic and electric operated solenoid systems.
- A thorough understanding of electrical systems (engine and chassis, various manufacturers).
- Drivetrains, understanding of automatic and manual transmission.
- Suspension and steering (air and spring).

Atlas offers:

A friendly work setting that allows you to show case your talents in over-hauling various components (all aspect of the mechanical trade). This is an extremely dynamic environment. We are looking for a trouble shooter; assess the issue, identify and get to the root of the problem.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 D/L,



Air Endorsement or Class 3 is an asset

Pay: $45.60-$49.60 per hour
