Job Description

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the main responsibilities of this position are achieving the desired Adfast colors, for preparing, operating, monitoring, and controlling the manufacturing processes for various pigments.

Working Conditions:

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, Day Shift, Selected Hours, either 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Salary: Stars at 23,00 $ per hour

Permanent and full-time

Main Tasks and Responsabilities:

- Operate automated production equipment while following established procedures;

- Weigh raw materials;

- Take samples;

- Perform visual and quantitative quality tests;

- Take inventory of pigments;

- Identify non-conformities;

- Clean mixers and color production equipment;

- Work collaboratively with various departments;

- Other related tasks.

Job Requirements:

- Hold a DEP in Production Equipment Operations or a high school diploma (DES);

- Experience in the manufacturing sector;

- Ability to distinguish colors;

- Ability to perform physically demanding work; comfortable lifting loads of 20 kg;

- Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset);

- Forklift license (an asset).
