Dukes Freight Services is currently hiring an experienced Class 1 Driver for local deliveries within Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Job Details

- Position: Class 1 Driver
- Location: Edmonton, AB
- Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
- Schedule: 5 days per week
- Hours: 10 hours per day
- Employment Type: Full-Time

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Experience operating and securing loads on flat decks
- Strong knowledge of load securement practices
- Clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for local deliveries
- Load, secure, and transport materials on flat deck trailers
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete required documentation accurately
- Follow company safety policies and transportation regulations




- Provide professional customer service
- Responsible for fueling mobile and stationary equipment on site locations
- Accurately recording all deliveries to ensure proper documentation
- Maintains accurate accountability of truck equipment and reports any mechanical and physical defects
- Other duties as assigned
