Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and hardworking Sandblasters, Painters, Shop and Yard Laborers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, finishing, and maintaining industrial equipment and structures through abrasive blasting, painting, and general labor tasks. Your efforts will ensure that projects meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in manufacturing and mechanical processes while contributing to large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or power tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, or repair machinery and structural components.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials around the shop yard using forklifts or cranes when certified.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by disposing of debris properly and ensuring tools are stored safely.
- Support manufacturing processes by performing basic machining tasks or mechanical adjustments as needed.




- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

- Prior experience with sandblasting, painting, or general labor in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, or cranes (certification preferred).
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project tasks.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work safely in a quick-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor tasks efficiently.
