Job Overview
The Velocity-West Autogroup is seeking a dedicated Service Department Manager in Moose Jaw where we operate 4 stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving fixed operations sales, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires solid leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers alike. Reporting the the General Manager, Fixed Operations Director and Ownership team, the Service Manager will be responsible for the performance of the department as a whole.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise department staff, fostering a positive team environment
- Manage daily operations including warranty, internal and customer pay repair orders
- Oversee recruiting, training, and development of team members
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with upper management on departmental goals and initiatives

- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships




- Proficient in dealership management system practises
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team management
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff

Pay: From $84,000.00 per year
