MW Curated Homes builds new homes and takes on renovation projects in Peterborough and the surrounding area. We're a small, established crew that takes pride in doing things right. One of our team members is moving on, and we're looking for a skilled, experienced carpenter to take their place.

Who we're looking for

- 5+ years of hands-on residential construction experience
- An all-round carpenter who can take a job from framing through to final finish, working independently
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings, lay out work accurately, and calculate materials
- A sharp eye for detail and a finish standard you're proud to put your name on
- Experience leading a task or guiding less experienced workers is a strong asset
- Professional and respectful on site and in clients' homes
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to sites across Peterborough and the Kawarthas
- Your own hand tools and basic cordless kit (e.g., drill/driver, impact driver, oscillating multi-tool, chisels, levels, and drywall knives) are an asset

What you'll be doingYou'll work across every stage of our builds and renovations, including:

Interior finishing: crown moulding, wainscoting, casing, baseboard, built-ins, and custom trim; hanging doors and installing hardware, cabinetry, and closet systems; stair finishing including treads, risers,



railings, and balusters; and drywall hanging, taping, and finishing to a Level 4–5 standard

Exterior: siding (vinyl, engineered wood, and fibre cement), soffit, fascia, and exterior trim, plus window and door installation

Structural and renovation: framing, sheathing, and building wrap; demolition and tie-ins to existing structures; and problem-solving in older homes

What we offer

- $36–$42/hr based on experience and skill
- Four-day work week (Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4pm)
