Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Project Administrator to support our project management team with the day-to-day administration and coordination of our construction projects.
This is primarily an office-based position and is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working with numbers and documents, and interested in the construction and real estate development industry.
Duties
The successful candidate will assist with the administration and coordination of construction projects, including:
- Preparing and organizing project documentation.
- Maintaining project files, contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and correspondence.
- Tracking project costs and expenses.
- Reviewing and organizing contractor and supplier invoices.
- Assisting with preparation and tracking of monthly/quarterly progress draws.
- Maintaining spreadsheets and project cost reports.
- Tracking payments, invoices, and outstanding amounts.
- Assisting with change orders and project cost adjustments.
- Maintaining project schedules and tracking important deadlines.
- Assisting the Project Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Organizing construction drawings, permits, reports, and other project documents.
- Preparing reports and summaries for management.
- Performing other duties as required to support the Project Manager and development team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, real estate development, project administration, or a similar environment is an asset.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with numbers, invoices, spreadsheets, and financial information.
- Strong knowledge of Simply Accounting and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate professionally with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal staff.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while also working as part of a team.
- Project-management experience is an asset but not required for the right candidate.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
