Overview

Join the Global Markets IT team supporting the Equity platform across the Americas. This role serves as the primary production support contact for Trading, Sales, and Operations users, ensuring platform stability, incident resolution, business support, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of escalation for production incidents impacting the Equity platform.

- Investigate and resolve issues within SLA requirements while providing clear communication to stakeholders and Front Office Trading teams.

- Support traders, sales, and operations users with day-to-day requests, including data investigations, configuration updates, and workflow analysis.

- Proactively monitor platform health and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.

- Maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and operational tooling supporting business-critical functions.

- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and partner with development and infrastructure teams to implement permanent solutions.

- Collaborate with global support teams across regions to ensure effective follow-the-sun coverage.

- Contribute to automation initiatives, scripting, CI/CD activities, and operational efficiency improvements.

- Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and support effectiveness.

Required Experience

- 5+ years of Application Support, Production Support, IT Operations, or hybrid Support/SRE experience within Financial Services.





- Experience supporting business-critical applications in a production environment.

- Strong incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis background.

Financial Markets Knowledge

- Equities business knowledge required.

- Understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and workflows.

- Experience supporting Trading, Sales, or Operations users.

- Familiarity with financial instruments including:

- Equities / Stocks

- Indices

- Options

- Futures

- Swaps

- Nice to have:

- P&L; knowledge

- VaR knowledge

Technical Requirements

- Monitoring tools: Geneos (ITRS), ELK

- SQL and NoSQL databases

- Stored procedures and query optimization

- Windows Server environments (IIS, Services, Scheduled Tasks)

- Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting

- Perl scripting

- Control-M or similar scheduling platforms

- Jira or equivalent ticketing systems

- Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible

- Docker and Kubernetes

- GitHub Copilot

Nice to Have

- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Professional French language proficiency

Communication & Soft Skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.88/hour - $56.06/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement perks.
