Overview
JP Carrier is seeking a dedicated Independent Delivery Contractor with own reliable vehicle to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering packages to various locations while ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service, as well as experience in moving and handling heavy items.

Duties

- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Sort, Scan, Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery status and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse.




- Return Packages at the same day before deadline to the warehouse

Requirements

- Own reliable vehicle with valid insurance ( SUVs and Larger Vehicles preferred )
- Clear Criminal Background and Drivers Abstract
- Valid Drivers License
- Smartphone with data
- Previous experience in delivery preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and move items efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $150.00-$250.00 per day

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Drivers License (required)
- Explicit Criminal Background Check (required)
- Clean Drivers Abstract (required)
