We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Forklift Operators specializing in double walkie operation to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and organizing inventory within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your mechanical aptitude and experience with warehouse management systems will ensure smooth operations, accurate order picking, and safe heavy lifting. Duties
- Operate double walkie forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets and large loads throughout the warehouse and also lift heqavy weight
- Use clamp trucks and other specialized equipment to handle various types of inventory with precision
- Perform accurate order picking by retrieving items according to order specifications using forklift and order picker equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other machinery to ensure optimal functioning and report any maintenance needs
- Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, stacking pallets, and organizing storage areas
- Follow warehouse management system protocols for logging inventory movements and updating stock records
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety guidelines at all times
Skills
- Proven experience operating double walkie forklifts in a busy warehouse environment
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic forklift issues and perform routine maintenance checks
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order picking procedures
- Ability to use clamp trucks effectively for handling specific types of cargo
- Robust understanding of warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and working in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $21.00 per hour
