Light-weight Building Systems Inc. is an industry leader in providing load bearing steel stud building design and construction services. LBS provides design engineering solutions, fabrication of all system components and all required on-site construction services for a complete steel stud structure and more.

Our team is expanding quickly, and we are looking for a Project Coordinator to join us.

We are searching for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can work well in a team environment, establish rapport easily, and handle project changes with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all the crafts of construction and possess excellent planning, organizational, and people management skills. Must have a solid foundation in computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook. PlanSwift or other take-off program experience is preferred.

To guarantee that project efficiency and document control processes are appropriately maintained and updated,



the Project Coordinator will regularly collaborate with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent.

Responsibilities/Tasks:

- hiring of labour for each job site
- document control from the start to finish of a project
- maintain and organize safety documentation per project
- read and review drawings
- recording and tracking of tool and fastener inventory
- compile, record, and track purchasing records and, quantities shipped
- assist with project accommodations
- assist with trucking and creating bill of ladings for all shipments
- develop and maintain relationships with vendors
- provide assistance to Project Managers, Site Superintendents and the Director of Operations as required
