Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable Snow Plow driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating snowplows (Pick up truck with plow and sander) and other snow removal equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and driveways, ensuring secure and efficient winter conditions for commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate snow plows, company truck(s), sand/salt spreaders and other snow removal equipment efficiently and safely.
· Monitor weather conditions and adjust snow removal strategies as required.
· Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
· Follow all necessary safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
· Collaborate with team members to complete tasks in a timely manner.
· Maintain accurate records of truck and equipment inspections, hours worked and materials used.
· Respond to emergency snow removal requests as needed.
Qualifications:
· Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
Clean Criminal Record Check
· Proven experience operating snow plows or similar heavy machinery is a highly valued asset.
· Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during snow events.
· Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently and with a team (“team mentality” is a must).
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
