Turner Hospitality Group runs a group of distinctive restaurants across Blue Mountain, Collingwood and Thornbury - rustic Italian at Magnone's and Polpette, Asian fusion at Mother Tongue, French at Poppy's. Scratch-made food, handcrafted cocktails, real hospitality.

We're looking for Prep Cooks to join our Mother Tongue Blue team. If you're organized, reliable and enjoy working in a kitchen, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role

You'll handle daily prep and support service, preparing ingredients and components according to recipes, specs and portioning standards. You'll keep prep organized, properly labelled and stored, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and keep the kitchen clean and stocked. Shifts are generally Monday to Friday 8 AM–2 PM, for a total of approximately 30hrs per week, with some flexibility depending on the needs of the kitchen. You'll work closely with the team to keep service moving and step in wherever support is needed.

- Previous prep or kitchen experience is an asset
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and the ability to follow direction
- Good attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work efficiently and keep up in a busy kitchen
- Availability for daytime shifts, with some flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays
