Experienced Automotive Detailer – Full-Time

Volvo Cars Edmonton is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Automotive Detailer to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that great detailing is about more than simply making a vehicle clean. Attention to detail, consistency, and a high standard of workmanship are important—especially when preparing vehicles for customers who expect a premium experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our Detail team, you’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining vehicles to a high standard, including:

- Complete exterior washing and vehicle preparation
- Interior vacuuming and detailed cleaning
- Cleaning carpets, upholstery, mats, trim, glass, and other interior surfaces
- Cleaning and conditioning leather, vinyl, plastics, and other materials
- Waxing, polishing, and buffing vehicle finishes
- Removing stains, contaminants, and other materials requiring specialized cleaning products or techniques
- Engine and engine-compartment cleaning when required
- Performing minor paint touch-ups and vehicle reconditioning




- Using professional detailing products and equipment safely and correctly
- Inspecting completed vehicles to ensure they meet our quality standards
- Following all dealership health and safety policies and immediately reporting any incidents or concerns

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.

Qualifications include:

- Minimum 1 year of professional automotive detailing experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform physical work for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
- Experience with paint correction/polishing, ceramic coatings, and PPF installation is considered a strong asset
