Dental Assistant – Full-Time & Part-Time

Westbrook Dental Group is currently seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team at our Keewatin and St. Mary’s locations.

Must have a valid Level II Dental Assistant certificate.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming dental practice.

New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly, and patient-focused approach
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable learning and using dental technology and software; MAXIDENT experience is an asset
- Member in good standing with the Manitoba Dental Assistants Association
- Available for day, evening, and Saturday shifts
- Must be available and reliable to work at both locations: 100 Keewatin Street & 249 St. Mary's Road

Responsibilities





- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during procedures, including suctioning and instrument transfer
- Perform sterilization and maintain proper infection-control standards
- Assist with dental X-rays and laboratory procedures
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
- Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
