About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Floor Manager to join our restaurant team. The Floor Manager will oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensure excellent customer service, support staff, and maintain a clean, organized, and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise front-of-house staff during shifts
- Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service
- Monitor table service, drink refills, food quality, and guest satisfaction
- Assign sections and coordinate staff during busy periods
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure tables, washrooms, bar areas, and dining areas are clean and properly maintained
- Make sure staff follow restaurant policies, dress code, and service standards
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training when needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Monitor reservations, large parties, and special events
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team
- Help control labour costs and ensure proper staffing levels




- Monitor inventory and report shortages or operational issues to management
- Ensure health, safety, and food-service standards are followed
- Complete manager checklists and shift reports

Qualifications

- 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality supervisory/management experience preferred
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Smart Serve certification required
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Pay: $35,200.00-$60,083.56 per year
