True North Labour is actively hiring motivated, proactive, and professional Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) with proven Canadian local experience to join our expanding team. This role is critical for supporting safe traffic management and maintaining organized site logistics.

Your Responsibilities

- Traffic Management: Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely using clear, compliant hand signals.
- Active Support: Assist with device channeling (setting up cones, barricades, delineators, and signage).
- Site Collaboration: Maintain robust, clear communication with the site team, supervisors, and sub-trades.
- Proactive Engagement: Stay active and assist with general labor or light duties when traffic is clear—go beyond just holding the paddle.
- Safety First:



Enforce site safety procedures, maintain high situational awareness, and work comfortably outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of local TCP experience in Canada (mandatory).
- Certifications: Valid BC-compliant TCP Ticket and WHMIS 2015 (required).
- Transportation: Must have your own reliable vehicle for travel across local job sites.
- Personal Gear & PPE:
- Full TCP Setup: Stop/Slow paddle, wrist/ankle reflectors, hard hat reflectors (yellow, green, orange, or red).
- Standard PPE: Hard hat, hi-vis vest, CSA-approved steel-toe boots.
- Key Traits: High punctuality, strong work ethic, active team player, and clear verbal communication skills.
