Unified Support Services Inc. is looking for compassionate and dedicated Child & Youth Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will support children and youth by creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that promotes personal growth, emotional well-being, and life skills development.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct support and mentorship to children and youth
- Help youth develop positive life skills, including communication, decision-making, and daily living skills
- Encourage healthy relationships, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour
- Support youth with school, activities, and personal goals
- Create a safe and supportive environment for youth to grow and succeed
- Maintain clear documentation and communicate with team members regarding youth progress
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other support professionals

Qualifications





- Experience working with children or youth is preferred
- Education in Child & Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is an asset
- Robust communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for supporting and empowering youth

Requirements

- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: $16.35-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
