Lead Server FOH Team Member – Almond Coffee & Cuisine

Almond Coffee & Cuisine is a third space curated for people looking to relax, unwind and have good time. We're looking for an energetic and customer focused Lead Server to join our team. This position combines professional full service restaurant serving experience with general café service and requires someone who can work efficiently in a busy, fast paced setting. Our ideal candidate is preferably a Gen-Z but millenials are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Warmly greet guests, guide them through food and beverage menus, offer thoughtful recommendations, and upsell daily specials.
- Execute opening, mid-shift, and closing duties, including section reset, rolling silverware, restocking stations, and maintaining strict sanitation standards.
- Take accurate orders using our POS system, pace courses appropriately, and coordinate efficiently with kitchen and barista staff.Provide exceptional customer service to
- Assist customers with orders and provide friendly, professional service.
- Operate POS and process cash, debit and credit transactions accurately.
- Assist with food service, table clearing and general café operations when required.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, counters and customer areas.
- Monitor stock levels and help minimize waste.
- Work closely with the kitchen, service team, Head Barista and management.
- Follow all food safety,



hygiene and sanitation standards.

Requirements

- BE A GEN-Z
- Previous serving experience at an upscale full service or fine dining establishment preferred.
- Strong familiarity with food safety guidelines, beverage pairing, and specialty coffee standards.
- Familiarity with sit down ordering and appropriate utensils placement.
- Not to getting mad at boomers, smiling and conducting yourself professionally until in the designated scream room.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a team first mindset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with a POS system and handling payments.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods.
- Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation and consistency.
- Know how to relax and have fun.
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and weekends.
