We are seeking an ambitious Erosion Control Foreman or Junior Foreman who wants to grow into a leadership role while helping manage crews on major industrial, municipal, mining, pipeline, and infrastructure projects across Western Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced crew lead, operator, hydroseeding technician, or erosion control specialist looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead field crews safely and efficiently
- Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Install erosion and sediment control products including:
- Silt fence
- Straw wattles
- Coir logs
- Erosion control blankets
- Turf reinforcement mats
- Hydroseeding applications
- Surface stabilization products
- Read drawings, specifications, and construction plans
- Conduct toolbox meetings and Field Level Hazard Assessments
- Monitor productivity, quality, and project schedules
- Train and mentor crew members
- Operate equipment when required
- Maintain communication with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients
- Complete daily reports and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with company and site safety standards

Qualifications

- 3+ years of construction experience
- Previous leadership experience considered a strong asset
- Experience in:
- Hydroseeding




- Reclamation
- Erosion control installation
- Civil construction
- Earthworks
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Alberta and BC
- Ability to work extended shifts and remote camp rotations

Preferred Assets

- Experience running hydroseeders
- Skid steer or excavator operating experience
- Class 1 or Class 3 Licence
- Experience managing small crews
- Environmental or reclamation project experience

Required Safety Tickets

- CSTS 2020
- Standard First Aid
- H2S Alive

Additional safety tickets are considered an asset.

Wage will be based on experience, leadership ability, equipment experience, and erosion control background.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
