Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Shift Lead Hand to oversee our evening operations. In this role, you will be a key leader on the floor, ensuring production runs smoothly, food safety and Health and Safety standards are upheld, and team members are supported. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for continuous improvement in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities during the evening shift to meet production targets.
- Support team members by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a collaborative work setting.
- Ensure all processes comply with food safety, quality control standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Lead maintenance and sanitation during the shift.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes and suggesting enhancements for productivity and quality.

Skills

- Experience working in the food industry is preferable.




- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly lines, and quality control standards.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with different departments and team members.
- Commitment to continuous improvement practices and process optimization.
- Ability to train.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
