As a Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our organization. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core responsibilities will include commercial cleaning and ensuring compliance with WHMIS standards. Your skills in facilities maintenance will enhance the overall cleanliness and functionality of the premises. Proficiency in English is required to effectively communicate with team members and understand safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, ensuring all areas are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Handle workplace hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Conduct regular facilities maintenance checks to identify and address any cleaning or maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance
- Strong knowledge of workplace hazardous materials information systems
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 30.0 per week
