Director of Finance - Brampton - $170 to 185K base + Bonus + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

- Provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to support strategic planning, operational performance reviews, and leadership decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop finance team members while supporting workforce planning, training initiatives, and employee growth.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting obligations, regulatory requirements, lender agreements, and other statutory filing requirements.
- Coordinate year-end financial review activities and act as the primary liaison for external auditors and advisors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes, internal controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial statements and management reports.
- Manage the organization's accounting operations, ensuring established procedures and controls are maintained and enhanced where appropriate.
- Maintain safeguards and oversight of organizational resources, including financial records, receivables, inventory, cash, equipment, and other business assets.




- Ensure the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions across the organization.

Qualifications

- Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent).
- Significant accounting and finance experience.
- Previous experience managing a staff is a must.
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering capabilities.
- Experience working in a complex operational workplace.
- Advanced systems proficiency and strong analytical skills.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, lead teams, and drive results.

Pay: $170,000.00-$185,000.00 per year
