Overview

We are hiring Owner-Operators with their own MINIVANS or CARGO VANS only! ( Please note: this is a self-employed posting, not an employee posting)

The driver's pay is 80% to 85% of the total. The price range is shown below for clarity.

Pick-up: London, ON.

Minimum Guarantee Pay is available, but for performance-based.

Delivery Area: London proper and outside areas as far as St. Mary's (no routes or locations are guaranteed). We go as far as Sarnia and the outskirts of Sarnia; we go all the way to Duart (which is close to Chatham-Kent), Goderich, and all surrounding areas, Tillsonburg, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Stratford, Sayfield, Lucan, Creidtion, St. Thomas, Murkirk, West Lorne; the list goes on. London has huge coverage.

Pay is for each package delivered, not each stop.

Payout: Bi-weekly bank transfer (no tax deducted). The first pay takes 3-4 weeks; thereafter, it occurs every 2nd week.

Volume: 80 to 160 packages per route (depending on volume and performance).

Work available: Monday to Friday.

Routes are rotational and will be assigned accordingly.

Business Line: $2.00 to $5.00 per delivered package (rates to use as a base)

Small Parcel: $2.15 to $4.00 per delivered package (rates to use as a base)

There are additional fees for oversized and overweight items.

Rates are determined by density and postal code.

London Business Line products must be delivered in business hours.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or repairs when necessary
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related logistics roles
- Familiarity with forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair is preferred
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers

This role is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our supply chain, requiring a dedicated individual committed to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
