JOB DESCRIPTION
As a pumpjack maintenance truck operator, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on pumpjacks. You will also be expected to keep up with minor maintenance on the unit you will be operating, such as greasing, maintaining fluids, and keeping your unit clean inside and out.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct pre-job hazard assessments and inspections before commencing any job
- Operate units and equipment in a safe, responsible, and professional manner
- Ensure all required parts for a job arrive on site
- Follow our health and safety guidelines outlined in the Northfork Oilfield Services safety manual
- Follow government legislation
- Wear and inspect required PPE
- Attend safety meetings
- Complete any paperwork dispatch, administration, and the safety department need on time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Class 3 or 5 license with air brakes
- 2-5 years of experience
- Satisfactory 5-year commercial driver abstract
- Valid safety certificates (standard first aid, h2s, fall arrest)
- Oilfield service industry knowledge
- Understanding of pump jack maintenance
- Strong communication skills
HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position with hourly pay. Your hours per week may vary depending on assigned jobs. On-call availability is expected on alternating weekends except for approved time off.
