Canadian Executive Search Group is looking to hire a Welder for a local manufacturing facility in Windsor, ON

Location: Windsor, ON

Role: Welder

Role Type: Direct Hire

Rate: $22.00/hr - $30.00/hr (depending on experience)

- + $2.00/hr Shift Premium on Afternoon Shift

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Monday - Friday

- Straight Afternoon Shift

Role Summary

The Welder is responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using
a variety of welding techniques. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to
detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The Welder ensures
all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and
processes

- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment

- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment

- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
and products

Skills & Qualifications

- Knowledge of welding techniques, including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW)
(TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), and multi-
pass welding

- Able to stand for extended periods work within a fast-paced environment and
have an attention for detail to ensure tight deadlines are met

Education & Experience

- A minimum of 3 years’ Welding experience

- Must be able to speak, read, and understand English to safely follow work
instructions, drawings and safety procedures

- Secondary (high)



school graduation certificate or equivalent

- Current welding certification

Working Conditions

- Shop setting with exposure to noise, sparks, grinding debris, and moving
equipment.

- Regular lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have an attention for detail to
ensure tight deadlines are met.

procedures.

- Follow all quality control processes and documentation requirements.
