Established Renovator and recent home builder looking for a full-time estimator/project coordinator. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be detailed oriented, and have experience in residential construction.
The primary function of this position is to develop pricing, and assist in organizing residential projects of varying sizes under the direction of the project manager. Most time will be in our office, with some site visits required in Edmonton and area.
Specific Duties:
- create scope documents, budgets, and presentation materials for project proposals
- provide pricing for project changes and options for ongoing projects
- create change orders and update project budgets regularly
- assist project manager in organizing trade scopes, pricing, and timelines for all projects
- work collaboratively with our trade partners in pricing, scope and scheduling matters
Required skills and experience:
-ability to read and understand detailed residential construction drawings and specifications
-ability to gather and organize pricing information with variety of trade partners
-understand and be able to scrutinize complex pricing and scope documents
- Estimating experience (at least 3 years) is required
- available weekdays, no evenings or weekends required
