Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Stand-Up Counter Balance Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a food production and distribution facility located near Science World. This role is ideal for a certified forklift operator with solid cold storage experience, excellent safety habits, and the ability to work efficiently in a GMP warehouse environment.

This is a stable opportunity in a medium-sized facility with a structured, safety-focused team environment. Candidates who perform well may be considered for permanent hire after approximately 3 months. The workplace provides required GMP items and freezer suits, supporting employees with the equipment needed to perform safely and comfortably in a cold storage setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a stand-up electric counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently in a cold storage warehouse.
- Move, stage, load, and organize food and beverage products according to shipping, receiving,



and storage requirements.
- Follow GMP procedures, food safety standards, and warehouse safety protocols at all times.
- Complete material handling tasks accurately while maintaining product integrity in a freezer or cold storage environment.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse workflow as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility standards.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $24 to $27 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
