Position Overview

We are looking for reliable Packagers and Production Workers for upcoming opportunities with a food manufacturing facility in Markham, Ontario.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who are dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, and interested in ongoing opportunities within manufacturing and food production.

Responsibilities may include:

- Packaging and preparing finished food products
- Packing, labeling, sorting and handling products
- Inspecting products and packaging for visible defects
- Assisting with general production duties as required
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Following food safety, hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Wearing required protective clothing and equipment
- Following instructions provided by supervisors and production leads
- Supporting other production or general labour duties as required

Requirements

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Reliable and punctual with a strong attendance record




- Able to reliably commute to the Markham work location
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing workplace
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Able to follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Able to wear required PPE and protective clothing
- Safety/non-slip footwear required
- Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse or food-processing experience is an asset, but not necessarily required
- Flexible availability for different shifts is considered an asset

Food Manufacturing Environment

Employees working in the facility are required to follow strict food safety and hygiene standards. This may include wearing hairnets and beard covers where applicable, removing jewelry, following handwashing procedures, and complying with plant GMP requirements.
